Design Process for Tanner Street
A few of the A1 drawings and ideas from our first group project in London.
The project being to create a relaxing installation somewhere on the route we had walked from the scoop to bermondsey square. Our installation was based around the history surrounding Tanner Street Park.
The area used to be flourishing in leather tanning factories and from our research we found out about the huge barrels and small pots that they used to dye the leather.
We looked at ideas such as huge leather covered pots to sit or recline on, pots filled with plants that were used to dye the leather and pots with water that you can put your feet in on hot summer days. Also a huge swinging barrel to sit and relax in.
